I can’t connect
Check that you entered the server URL exactly as shown in the connection details. Your client must support Streamable HTTP and OAuth browser sign-in; see the Other MCP clients tab in the connection guide. Then reconnect Altitude from your client and complete sign-in. If an organization manages the connector, ask its administrator for help instead of removing a shared connection. The browser shows “Authentication failed”
Close the browser window, return to your AI client, and start the connection again. Complete the Altitude sign-in when prompted. My authentication has expired
Reconnect to Altitude from your AI client and sign in again. Claude shows this as Connect next to the connector. ChatGPT asks you to sign in again when you next use the plugin.Altitude does not respond in the chat
In Claude, check that Altitude is turned on under +, then Connectors, for this conversation. In ChatGPT, mention it with @Altitude in your message.A Workspace is missing
Ask the assistant which Altitude account is connected. Then check that the same account has an active membership in the Workspace you are looking for. Workspaces where your membership has been removed do not appear. The assistant can’t complete an action
Ask which Altitude tools are available in the current connection and compare them with the tool reference. The tools confirm your connected account, list Workspaces, read balances and Transactions, and request document exports. Complete other actions in Altitude. Some tools are missing
Your client may still be using an older tool list or schema. Refresh the tool list if your client offers that option, then start a new chat. If tools are still missing, reconnect Altitude and check again. Organization policies and tool enablement settings may also limit what is available. Ifgenerate_exports reports that its inputs are missing, refresh the connection and start a new chat before trying again. No document was requested by that failed call.
My document is not ready
Keep theexport_id returned by generate_exports. Ask your assistant to check it with get_export_status and wait retry_after_seconds between checks. Do not generate the same document repeatedly; each request creates another export.
If the job failed, ask for the available failure details and request another export only when you want to retry.
